Rehearsal/Concert Piano Accompanist

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and versatile Rehearsal/Concert Piano Accompanist to join our dynamic chorale organization. In this energetic role under the direction of the Artistic Director, you will provide expert piano accompaniment for rehearsals and live performances, supporting the 65-80 voice chorale and the 14-18 voice Ensemble. Your enthusiasm and musical expertise will be essential for efficient rehearsals and will help elevate performances. Responsibilities Be adequately prepared in rehearsals and performances to provide piano accompaniment for both the Southern Delaware Chorale and the Ensemble. Provide professional piano accompaniment during rehearsals, adjusting tempo and dynamics as needed to support artistic vision. Support vocalists and instrumentalists by offering accurate, responsive playing that enhances their performance quality. Adapt quickly to different musical styles and performance requirements, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude. Attend rehearsals and performances punctually, maintaining high energy levels to motivate performers. Work closely with, and accomodate the musical expectations of the Artistic Director. Experience Proven experience as a rehearsal or concert pianist, accompanist, or in a similar musical support role. Strong proficiency in piano performance across diverse musical genres, with excellent sight-reading skills. Ability to adapt quickly to different musical styles while maintaining accuracy and musicality. Prior experience in collaborative settings that require clear communication and teamwork. Pay:

$50.00 - $65.00 per hour Application Question(s): Will you be able to prepare an on-site audition? Can you provide 3 professional references?
