Job Description St. Christopher's Episcopal Church seeks a skilled and collaborative Organist and/or Pianist to support and enhance the musical life of the parish. The Accompanist will provide piano and/or organ music for worship services, accompany the choir, and contribute to a vibrant and prayerful liturgical experience. St. Christopher's uses hymnody representing the breadth of the Anglican tradition. Our most-used resource is The Hymnal 1982, but we occasionally draw from other resources.

Qualifications:

Mastery in piano and/or organ performance and hymn accompaniment If not proficient at the organ, a willingness to study organ to gain proficiency in service playing.

Introductory lessons will be provided by the church. Strong sight-reading, open-score reading, and accompanying skills Degree in music or equivalent experience preferred

Compensation:
