DESCRIPTION
St. Ignatius Parish is seeking a Pianist/Music Coordinator, as well as additional pianists, to assist with the parish music ministry for weekend Masses. The Pianist/Music Coordinator will coordinate music selections, support the overall music ministry of the parish, and accompany some weekend Masses. Additional pianists will assist by accompanying the Saturday 5:00 p.m. Mass and/or the Sunday 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Masses. Compensation ranges depending on skill and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should be proficient in piano accompaniment. The ability to read music and collaborate with clergy, choir, cantors, and other musicians is preferred. Familiarity with the Catholic Mass and liturgical music is expected. For the Music Coordinator position, experience selecting music and coordinating a parish music ministry is preferred.
