Qualifications:
Must be able to sight-read music and play the guitar, piano, or keyboard. Must possess at least two years of experience playing for a church congregation. Must be able to sing and perform both liturgical and contemporary Christian music. Must be capable of leading Protestant Christian faith group music services. Must be familiar with both liturgical and contemporary worship service formats. Must undergo and pass a musical audition as part of the selection process. Must be available to complete the training. Must pass required background screening and verification for access to federal property.
Responsibilities:
Provide vocal, guitar, and/or piano/keyboard services for regular, special, and rehearsal events. Plan musical arrangements with the Chapel Pastor to lead the congregation. Identify and report instrument malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Chaplain. Notify the Chaplain of absences and ensure approved coverage for all leave.
Pay:
Up to $1,250.00 per month
