Job Description

Piano accompanist for new
District-Wide Ensemble:
LPS Gospel Choir. Keyboard proficiency expected. Ability to read open score, play rehearsal warm-ups and parts. Must have ability to improvise and read jazz charts. Individual must be collaborative and able to adjust to various performance situations and styles of music. Audition is required as part of the interview process. Estimated 2 hours per week with day/time TBD in conjucntion with ensemble directors. Paid through Extra Standard Stipend over 9 month period. Reports to Supervisor of Music. Review of applications to begin immediately. Position will remain open until filled. This position is subject to a veterans preference.
