DESCRIPTION The North Country Center for the Arts at Jean's Playhouse is seeking 3 age appropriate
NON-UNION
Performers to play the following roles in our uing summer rep season featuring
HAIRSPRAY & FOOTLOOSE
"Velma Von Tussle" in
HAIRSPRAY
/ "Ethel" in
FOOTLOOSE
"Motormouth Maybelle" in
HAIRSPRAY
/ "Vi Moore" in
FOOTLOOSE
"Male Authority Figure (Principal, Mr. Pinky, etc)" in
HAIRSPRAY
/ "Reverend Shaw" in
FOOTLOOSE
Dates:
June 22 - August 23, 2026
Compensation:
$350/week stipend + d housing (private room) NCCA produces both shows through a rigorous five-week repertory process, including two weeks rehearsing both productions simultaneously, one week to tech HAIRSPRAY, one week of
HAIRSPRAY
performances whilepleting rehearsals for FOOTLOOSE, and a final week to tech and open
FOOTLOOSE.
Following opening, actors typically perform between three and five performances per week. Located in the heart of New Hampshire's White Mountains, NCCA at Jean's Playhouse produces a professional summer repertory season while serving thousands of local residents and vacationers each year.
