Job Description

CHURCH PIANIST NEEDED!
We are a United Methodist Church in Tualatin Oregon. We are a progressive congregation, fully inclusive and welcoming. We are looking to fill the position of permanent pianist who would work collaboratively with the praise team director who is a guitarist/vocalist. Our music team also includes a bassist/vocalist and a group of singers. The pianist position requires facility with traditional and contemporary styles since we incorporate classical, gospel, rock, and jazz elements. The ability to sight read is important. We utilize chord charts, lead sheets, full scores and invite creativity. Rehearsal begins at 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning, followed by the service at 10:00 a.m. The Pianist is paid $200.00 per Sunday The Praise Team is a great group, let us know if you would like to apply.
