Job Description

New Brighton Methodist Church, located in New Brighton, Pennsylvania, is seeking a dedicated, skilled, and worship-minded pianist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide piano accompaniment for Sunday morning services, special events, and rehearsals. Responsibilities include collaborating with the music director, supporting congregational singing, and enhancing the overall worship experience through music.
Qualifications:
 Proficiency in piano performance in both classical and contemporary styles  Ability to read music in multiple forms: standard notation, chord charts, lead sheets  Experience accompanying choirs and soloists  Familiarity with traditional and contemporary Christian music  Ability to work collaboratively with church staff and volunteers  Reliable, punctual, and committed to ministry  Vocal abilities a plus but not require
Position Details:
 Part-time role  Wednesday night choir rehearsals at 7 PM for approximately two (2) hours  Sunday morning contemporary worship service at 9 AM and traditional worship service at 11AM for approximately four (4) hours  Special events  Christmas Eve service and Holy Week services  Personal preparation Please respond with resume and cover letter.

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
