NWSE (NorthWest Student Exchange) is looking for an individual to work with us as a local coordinator for high school exchange students. Making an impact and earning a stipend, an NWSE Area Coordinator enjoys: A flexible, part-time position as an independent contractor Earning a stipend for every successful placement made and supported each month upon students arrival (90.00 for in home interviews for students who prearrange their hosts or 175.00 for in home interviews for families/individuals you and I find in your area. Monthly call monitoring of student and host and completing a short report on our database 55. to 60 dollars) Supporting international education by recruiting and screening caring volunteer host families Building an international community through local high school exchange programs. Maintaining regular contact with students and host families while providing support when needed Options for referral stipend of $200 for additional host families secured outside of your network Initial phone or zoom training of about 1 hr and options for monthly zoom call with other coordinators across the USA. person interview with host family in their home along with IN person meeting with exchange student shortly after arrival are required. Seeing a host parent once per semester. Our students come from a wide variety of countries, including Italy, Japan, Brazil, Poland, Mexico, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Spain, France and Czech Republic NWSE is a non-profit, private exchange organization that has been placing students with families and individuals since 1987. We are fully credentialed by the United States Department of State and are listed in the CSIET (Council on Standards for International Educational Travel) catalog of approved exchange organizations.
