Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the worship team to provide musical leadership during Sunday services, special events, and church functions
  • Lead congregational singing and assist in creating an engaging, spiritually uplifting worship experience
  • Prepare and rehearse music selections in advance, ensuring readiness for scheduled performances
  • Participate in weekly rehearsals and work closely with other musicians, singers, and church staff
  • Support the churchs mission by contributing to the spiritual atmosphere through musical excellence
  • Assist in selecting appropriate music that aligns with the values and themes of the church
  • Maintain and care for instruments, sound equipment, and music materials as needed
  • Encourage and mentor volunteers or youth interested in music ministry
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in at least one musical instrument or voice
  • Experience performing in a church or similar setting is preferred
  • Ability to read music and/or chord charts
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills
  • Commitment to personal integrity and Christian values
  • Reliability and punctuality for rehearsals and scheduled services
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and special occasions
  • Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment
