Job Description

OVERVIEW
This role requires a committed leader who is passionate about serving the congregation of Heartwood Church through music and media. Experience playing and singing from keys or guitar is required. This person will need to be flexible and creative due to a consistently growing and changing environment. Additionally, this role requires a shepherd's heart, leadership, vision, confidence, ability to be a good teammate, and the willingness to learn. •8 hours per week•
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that song selection and the worship environment support the mission of Heartwood. Prepare chord charts, lyrics, slides and videos for Sunday gatherings. Recruit, schedule, and support all musicians and volunteers. Report on worship team activities and needs to the leadership of Heartwood. Manage and maintain all instruments and equipment. Offer special worship events throughout the year, as desired. Participate in various church staff events, and duties as required.
