Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) -
Evening Shift Location:
Augusta, GA Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Augusta, GA. This full-time perm position offers the opportunity to provide mobile X-ray and EKG services to a variety of healthcare facilities, including nursing homes and other healthcare settings. The role demands technical proficiency, professionalism, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
Perform portable digital (DR) or computed radiography (CR) X-ray procedures at various facility locations, ensuring the delivery of diagnostically acceptable images. Submit and transmit X-ray images promptly for radiologist review through secure digital platforms. Set up and unload portable X-ray equipment as required, ensuring proper operation and safety protocols are followed. Obtain clinically diagnostic images by adhering to precise technical standards. Conduct electrocardiograms (EKGs) when requested, transmitting results directly to cardiologists for interpretation. Scan and manage exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily, maintaining accurate and organized records. Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of the vehicle and X-ray equipment, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary. Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, healthcare staff, and patients to coordinate services and ensure a seamless patient experience. Adhere to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols throughout daily tasks.
Qualifications:
ARRT certification required. Valid state licensure (if applicable). Proven experience operating portable digital or computed radiography equipment. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and maneuvering equipment, with accommodations as needed. Excellent interpersonal skills and professional communication. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
