This role involves managing ventilators, wound care, and multiple comorbidities over longer hospital stays.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage critical care equipment such as ventilators or specialized feeding tubes. Implement long-term care plans addressing wound management, infection control, and rehabilitation. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers for comprehensive care. Provide frequent reassessments, adjusting treatments based on patient progress. Educate families about complex health needs and discharge planning.
Work Environment:
