Currently, Perry's is looking to hire for both Novato and Larkspur. Specifically, we are looking for an experienced bartender, Candidates should have at least 2+ years of experience bartending and be self-motivated and friendly. We are looking for folks who work well in a team environment. Night and weekend availability required. Experience with Aloha POS preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them. Inform guests of specials and menu changes. Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy. Up-sell food & beverage items using suggestive selling techniques (i.e. daily specials, cocktails, appetizers, entrees, desserts, and after dinner beverages). Have thorough knowledge of menu. Answer questions about our food, beverages (including wine & specialty cocktails) and other restaurant functions and services. Have working knowledge of classic cocktails. Learn and understand our beverage menu offering. Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items…etc. Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our Aloha point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar. Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment. Maintain clean bar areas at all time. Pre-bus and maintain bar. Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests. Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable). Be a Team Player, ready and willing to assist fellow servers and bartenders as situations arise. Be ready and willing to assist bus person with clearing and resetting tables. Be ready and willing to assist host with seating customers, presenting menus and making reservations. Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
