Personal Banker I

Farmers and Merchants Bank in De Leon is looking to add a Personal Banker to our current staff. A Personal Banker is a bank employee who helps customers of the bank with routine financial transactions and customer service. Personal Bankers will process transactions at the teller line and may help with the account opening process when needed. There could be secondary duties such as working on various projects for the Retail department. Our ideal candidate will have computer knowledge, customer service experience, and banking experience. Full Time Shift and Schedule Monday - Friday, Saturday rotation Essential Duties & Responsibilities Teller Operations Processing transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and regulations. Transactions would include cashing checks, acceptance of deposits and loan payments, the process of withdrawals, redeeming bonds, and cash advances. Reconciling cash drawers, and monitoring cash limits for respective drawers. Responsible for obtaining proper customer identification Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses. Assist with replenishing and balancing ATMS, where applicable Monitor cash limits for respective drawers. Deposit Operations Assist when needed in the account opening process File Maintenance or scan on customer and deposit account information on core system Review and mail periodic interest and bank notices to customers. Assist customers with various customer service-related questions and issues Assist with duties of all Retail Banking operation areas as needed, or by supervisor.
