Personal Care Aide

In this vital role, you will provide personalized support to promote independence, safety, and well-being in various settings such as assisted living facilities, group homes, and private residences. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; observe and report any changes in condition Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and proper infection control procedures Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to safely assist with mobility and transfers Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and care plans Experience Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Demonstrated experience providing patient observation, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, or memory care services Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and basic nursing skills such as CPR and first aid certification Experience with care planning, patient monitoring, and working within HIPAA guidelines is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to assist residents safely Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams, residents, and families Join us in delivering exceptional personal care that enhances quality of life.
