JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing support to elderly individuals. This position requires a strong commitment to resident care, monitoring, and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs). The Aide will work closely with residents to ensure their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and observe residents to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide caregiving support while respecting resident rights and promoting independence.
• Engage in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and personal development.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Document resident observations and report any changes in behavior or condition to the supervisor or administrator.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with elderly individuals is preferred.
• Strong understanding of resident monitoring techniques and caregiving practices.
• Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to upholding them at all times.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for this role.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
