$13.00-$13.25 per hour About the

Role:

As a Personal Care Attendant (PCA), you will provide essential services designed to maintain, strengthen, and safeguard the client in his or her home environment. You will offer care, warmth, and support while following the client's individualized plan of care. To excel in this role, you should have a genuine interest in health care, compassion for others, and the ability to work independently while keeping the client's needs as your top priority.

Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Support mobility and transfers when needed . Prepare simple meals and provide assistance with feeding if required Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and general tidying Provide medication reminders (non-clinical) Offer companionship and emotional support Follow the established plan of care and maintain safety practices Communicate any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor or family.

Qualifications:

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age Must not have been convicted of an offense under Chapters 3, 19, or 20 of the Texas Penal Code, or offenses listed under Section §250.006 or Section §3.20 Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required Reliable transportation Ability to lift or assist with mobility as needed Must pass background check Dependable, compassionate, and able to work with limited supervision LAURA M.
