• Part-time Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team.

Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Monitor and record vital signs, medication administration, and other health indicators accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner. Support patients with specialized needs including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, behavioral health management, and memory care. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care in settings such as medical-surgical units, ICU, PICU, emergency departments, or outpatient clinics. Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with medical procedures including catheter care, phlebotomy (blood draws), and basic life support when required. Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records and ensure accurate communication during shift handovers. Requirements Valid CNA certification or equivalent licensure required; experience working as a Personal Care Assistant or CNA preferred. Demonstrated experience in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, hospice, or home care settings. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient safety protocols including HIPAA compliance. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays; familiarity with dementia or Alzheimer's care is highly valued. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting patients using Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices; capable of standing and walking for extended periods. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving; ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
