5 Weeks Schedule Monday•Friday 7:30 AM•12:30 PM 5 Hours per Day 30-

Not Applicable Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide support to students in a school-based environment. The PCA will assist students with daily living activities, classroom participation, mobility, and behavioral support while fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive learning atmosphere. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are patient, supportive, and passionate about helping children achieve academic and social success. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized support to students throughout the school day Assist students with personal care needs, including hygiene and mobility assistance when required Support classroom engagement and participation in educational activities Reinforce positive behaviors and assist with behavioral support strategies Ensure student safety during classroom activities, transitions, and daily routines Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student goals and development Encourage independence, communication, and social interaction skills Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with school policies Document observations and communicate concerns or progress updates to appropriate staff members Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience working with children, individuals with special needs, or in a caregiving role preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain patient, attentive, and compassionate in a school setting Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and educational staff Basic knowledge of personal care assistance and student support strategies preferred CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required Ability to lift, assist, and support students throughout the school day as needed Additional Information School-based assignment Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunity to make a positive impact on student development and daily success For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
