Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as a Personal Caregiver, where your dedication and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities and personal well-being. This vital role offers an opportunity to provide respectful, attentive care in various settings such as private homes, assisted living facilities, group homes, or long-term care environments. Your efforts will promote independence, safety, and comfort for those you serve while fostering a warm and trusting relationship built on empathy and professionalism. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs, noting changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals Administer medications following prescribed schedules and HIPAA privacy standards to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to ensure safe mobility and prevent injury Maintain detailed care plans and documentation for each client, including progress notes and incident reports Support clients in engaging with their community through social activities, outings, or recreational events to promote mental well-being Experience Prior experience working in home health care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring Hands-on experience with medication administration, care planning, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Familiarity with specialized care such as Alzheimer's/dementia care, memory care, hospice support, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices Experience providing personal care in settings that require patience, compassion, and adaptability Certifications such as CPR/First Aid are advantageous; ongoing training in home & community care practices is encouraged Join us to empower individuals through dedicated caregiving that emphasizes dignity and independence. Pay:
$11.50 - $13.00 per hour
