Great opportunity to work in one of New York's largest trial firms and gain valuable experience working with very seasoned attorneys. The work environment is fast-paced, dynamic, and supports attorneys in their development of trial skills. The ideal person will be comfortable managing a high volume caseload, making court appearances, drafting pleadings/discovery responses, conducting depositions, preparing motions, appeals, and trial documents. Key Responsibilities Manage a high volume caseload of medical malpractice and nursing home matters. Interview clients, witnesses, and experts. Prepare legal documents. Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings. Conduct depositions Prepare and attend trials to Verdicts Qualifications Licensed to practice in New York State 10+ years of plaintiff-side medical malpractice experience Resilience to handle complex cases Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw.
