Good Fit If:
You cannot commit to the required schedule (2 PM-11 PM and occasional weekends). You are uncomfortable with behavioral supports or physical interventions You are not open to using technology daily or supporting AAC learning. You are not reliable or prefer a passive caregiving role—this client needs engaged, consistent support.Job Responsibilities:
- Assist individual with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individual
- Ensure the safety and well-being of client
- Document and report any changes in behavior or health status
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity is maintained
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment Experience Needed
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or educational settings required
- Knowledge of vital signs and medication administration is a plus, you will be required to obtain a certified med tech license if you do not already have one.
- Familiarity with working in school settings with vocational programming for young adults with disabilities, nursing homes or similar healthcare settings is beneficial
