Pest Control Technician

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Pest Control Technician for our seasonal residential route at Complete Pest Control. This position runs from April through October and will end after October when our residential program concludes for the season. In this role, you will provide consistent, high-quality monthly pest control services to our residential customers. You will focus on preventative treatments, thorough inspections, and building strong relationships with homeowners to keep their properties pest-free during the active season. This is a dedicated seasonal residential route position — no commercial accounts or one-time jobs. Ideal candidates enjoy working outdoors, interacting with homeowners, and delivering exceptional service on a regular schedule. Responsibilities Perform scheduled monthly visits to residential customers on your assigned route from April through October. Conduct detailed exterior and interior inspections of homes to identify current or potential pest issues. Apply preventative pest control treatments safely and effectively, following all label instructions, state regulations, and company safety protocols. Use appropriate hand tools and power equipment for precise product application and equipment maintenance. Educate homeowners on pest prevention tips, landscape practices, and ways to reduce future pest problems. Maintain accurate digital and/or paper records of each service, including treatments applied, observations, and any recommended follow-ups. Drive a company vehicle to and from customer homes while maintaining a clean driving record and professional appearance. Communicate courteously and professionally with customers during each visit. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with the latest residential pest control techniques and products. Requirements Previous experience in pest control, lawn care, or landscape maintenance is preferred, but not required — we are willing to train the right person. Strong customer service and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently on a daily route. Excellent communication skills — able to explain services and prevention tips clearly and professionally to homeowners. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be able to pass required background checks and drug screening. Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, and move around properties comfortably. Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing consistent, high-quality service every month.
