Updated Job Description (Seasonal + Roofing/Christmas Lights Add‑On) Summer Pest Control Technician (Seasonal) Fredericksburg, VA | $18/hr | Seasonal Position Mosquito Joe is a fast-growing, locally owned business, and we're hiring Seasonal Field Technicians for the summer! If you're a motivated, detail-oriented self-starter, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience from June through August in a fun and supportive environment. This role may also include optional off‑season work installing Christmas lights, so roofing or ladder experience is a plus. What You'll Do Assist in providing outdoor pest control services (mosquitoes, fleas, ticks) Communicate clearly with customers about our services Walk properties while carrying equipment weighing up to 40 lbs Maintain service records, clean vehicles, and follow safety regulations Support our holiday lighting division during the off‑season (Sept-Dec), including installing Christmas lights on roofs, gutters, and elevated surfaces What You'll Need Valid ID and driver's license with a safe driving record Comfort working outdoors and flexible hours Ability to lift and walk with equipment for extended periods Must be at least 18 years old Comfort working on roofs and ladders; roofing or exterior home‑service experience preferred Who We're Looking For Recent high school graduates and college-bound students are encouraged to apply Friendly, professional, reliable, and safety-focused individuals No prior experience needed—just a great attitude!
