Pest Control Technician

Pay:

$45,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year Job description: Job description: Berrett Home Services is rapidly growing and has an on-going need to add great employees for pest control routes in Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex and surrounding areas. We need awesome caring people to take care of our awesome customers. Experience in the pest control industry is a plus but not necessary as we will train you. Starting pay is also increased based upon a current valid pest control license held for the state of Texas. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic industry with potential for growth. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure your success as a Pest Control Technician. Responsibilities:

Perform pest control treatments at residential and commercial properties Identify and assess pest infestations and determine appropriate treatment methods Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery as necessary to perform treatments Apply pesticides and other pest control products safely and effectively Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions Keep accurate records of treatments performed and maintain proper documentation

Requirements:

Previous experience in pest control and pest control practices or other related field is preferred, but not required Able to pass a required criminal background check, a driving background check and required drug test Able to read and comprehend labels, understand basic and some advance math Able to write, communicate and document effectively Have a current valid driver's license Ability to drive to different locations for service calls Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Good communication skills to interact with customers Have availability to work two Saturdays in a month
