$22.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE About the Role The Landscape Pest Control Technician is responsible for the safe and effective application of pest control treatments across a portfolio of residential and commercial landscape accounts. This role works closely with our maintenance and irrigation teams to deliver complete, high-quality service to every client we touch. We are looking for someone who takes pest management seriously, follows protocols without being told twice, and takes pride in protecting client properties and the environment. What You'll Do Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers according to label instructions and state regulations Conduct site inspections to identify pest, disease, and weed pressure Document treatments, product usage, and site conditions accurately in every visit Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and the operations team Coordinate with maintenance and irrigation crews to flag and address landscape health issues Maintain equipment in clean, safe, and operational condition Stay current on Hawaii pesticide laws, licensing requirements, and best practices Represent Personal Touch Landscape professionally on every property What Success Looks Like Treatments applied correctly, on schedule, and documented every time Zero compliance violations or misapplication incidents Clients and crews consistently informed of findings and follow-up Equipment and materials managed responsibly with no waste or shortcuts Properties trending toward healthier, cleaner, and better-looking over time Experience & Requirements Hawaii Pesticide Applicator License required (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire) 1+ years of experience in pest control, plant health care, or landscape maintenance Working knowledge of common Hawaii pest, disease, and weed issues Ability to read and follow pesticide labels and safety data sheets Strong attention to detail and documentation habits Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work outdoors in Hawaii's climate, including heat and humidity Our Standard - The 5 C's Every team member at PTL operates by our
