Duties Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to all safety protocols and legal requirements Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, including proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to develop and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs Monitor patient responses to medications, especially in critical care settings such as

ICU, PICU

(Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), and trauma centers Manage IV infusions and aseptic techniques for sterile medication preparation in compliance with hospital standards Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate pharmacotherapy, considering physiology, anatomy knowledge, and medical history Support acute pain management initiatives and participate in emergency room interventions when necessary Qualifications Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction Extensive hospital experience, including Level I Trauma Center or Level II Trauma Center settings preferred Demonstrated clinical pharmacy experience with a focus on hospital medicine, critical care, or emergency room environments Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medication administration protocols Experience with managed care systems and post-residency training or pharmacy residency programs highly desirable Proven ability to perform patient service tasks such as medication reconciliation and patient education Skills in acute care management, including ICU experience and acute pain management strategies Familiarity with pediatric pharmacotherapy (Pediatrics) and IV infusion techniques Excellent communication skills for effective patient assessment and interdisciplinary collaboration Join us to make a meaningful difference by ensuring safe medication practices while delivering compassionate patient care.
