Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A hospital in Kerrville, TX, is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy services at their 120-bed community facility. This contract role is set to begin as soon as possible and will last approximately 13 weeks, with potential for extension.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday day shifts, starting at 7 am, 8 am, or 9 am Coverage every 4th weekend Possible transition to second shift (11:45 am - 10:15 pm, 10-hour shifts) Flexibility in scheduling is highly desired

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Texas pharmacist license Previous hospital pharmacy experience Familiarity with Meditech, MedKeeper (for IVs), and Omnicell preferred

Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense medications and compounds in a hospital setting Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory policies Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care Manage inventory and operate IT systems including Meditech and Omnicell Support day-to-day pharmacy operations and participate in weekend coverage rotation This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.
