Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A pharmacy position is available in La Vergne, TN, at a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy serving approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This opportunity offers a 13-week contract with potential for contract-to-hire, working 40 hours per week.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM shift ASAP start

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions Conduct final verification processes on prescriptions Verify that the correct medication is in the bottle/box Confirm that directions and prescription information match the hard copy Utilize the Wellsky order entry system; note that no automation is involved No on-call duties required

Desired Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist with relevant state certification Experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably with mail order or specialty pharmacy Detail-oriented with strong verification and accuracy skills Familiarity with Wellsky or similar pharmacy order entry systems is a plus Ability to work independently during assigned shift hours This contract role provides a structured schedule with consistent hours, focusing on critical verification duties without on-call obligations.
