Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A leading 500-bed hospital is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join their team in York, PA. This opportunity offers a dynamic work environment within a large healthcare facility, allowing you to utilize your clinical expertise in inpatient pharmacy services.
Responsibilities include:
Verifying medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety Supervising pharmacy technicians and supporting their daily tasks Consulting with physicians regarding medication therapy and adjustments Applying pharmacokinetic principles to optimize dosage and treatment plans Collaborating with the healthcare team to improve medication outcomes
Desired Qualifications:
Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist license Approximately 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems to manage medication records and automation Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work variable days and afternoon shifts effectively
Schedule:
Variable days and afternoons to accommodate hospital needs
