Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A pharmacist role is available to contribute to the inpatient pharmacy's distribution functions in a healthcare setting near Seattle, WA. This contract position offers an ASAP start, extending for 16 weeks with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.
Schedule:
Variable days and afternoons 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately using Epic Perform final product verification checks to ensure patient safety Respond to clinical questions and provide drug information Supervise and oversee pharmacy technician activities Participate in Code Blue/emergency response situations Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis to support pharmacy operations
Desired Skills and Experience:
Licensed pharmacist with experience in inpatient pharmacy settings Proficiency in Epic and Pyxis systems Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to provide accurate drug information Experience in supervising pharmacy technicians Ability to respond effectively during emergency situations such as Code Blue events This position offers an opportunity for pharmacists to apply their clinical expertise in a dynamic hospital environment while supporting critical pharmacy functions.
