This contract position requires expertise in managing prescriptions accurately and ensuring optimal patient care during overnight hours.

Responsibilities:

Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions in compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations. Provide exceptional patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and storage. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective pharmaceutical care. Monitor inventory levels and manage restocking to maintain efficient pharmacy operations. Handle insurance claims and resolve billing inquiries related to prescriptions. Maintain accurate and detailed records of dispensed medications and patient profiles. Address and resolve any patient or provider concerns professionally and promptly.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Valid Pharmacist license with experience in prescription management. Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and pharmacy law. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently during night shifts with attention to detail. Prior experience in a community or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.
