This contract role offers a 7 on, 7 off schedule, working overnight from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing a focused environment to apply pharmaceutical expertise and contribute to patient care during critical hours.

Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and patient safety Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in their daily tasks Conduct pharmacokinetic monitoring and provide dosage adjustments as needed Collaborate and consult with physicians and nurses to optimize medication therapy Utilize electronic health record systems including EPIC and Pyxis for efficient workflow

Qualifications:

Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license is required Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and medication management Ability to work independently during night shifts with attention to detail Excellent communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
