Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking an experienced pharmacist to support their inpatient behavioral health unit on a contract basis starting May 18. This role requires weekend availability with shifts on Saturday and Sunday, 6 hours per day, until a permanent pharmacist is hired.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and safely within the inpatient behavioral health setting Utilize automated medication dispensing systems including Omnicell Repackage medications using systems such as Milt/Medi-dose or HCL Perform routine tasks such as loading drugs into automated machines and generating restock reports Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Valid Iowa pharmacist license is required Experience working with Omnicell automated dispensing equipment highly preferred Familiarity with medication repackaging methods like Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL desirable Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical inventory management and reporting Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Schedule:
