Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for two inpatient pharmacists to provide clinical pharmacy services at a hospital located near Elkhart, IN, just outside South Bend, IN. The 13-week contract begins June 1st and offers two distinct day shifts: one from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the other a combined day/evening shift from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. This role requires hands-on inpatient pharmacy experience supporting hospital distribution services and IV room preparation. Key responsibilities include verifying medication orders using Cerner Meds Manager, managing inpatient medications including IV antibiotics, anticoagulants, and electrolytes, and utilizing technology systems such as Cerner EMR, Pyxis, and Pharmacy Keeper to ensure safe and effective medication distribution.

Desired qualifications and experience:

Proficiency in Cerner Meds Manager order verification process Familiarity with inpatient hospital pharmacy operations and IV medication preparation Experience with Cerner EMR, Pyxis, and Pharmacy Keeper systems Open to new graduates with demonstrated Cerner order verification experience Candidates must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility.
