Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A community hospital located on Cape Cod is seeking a night shift pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in a 200-bed facility approximately 70 miles south of Boston. This contract position offers a schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off, covering the hours from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Responsibilities Include:

Verifying medication orders for accuracy and safety Supervising pharmacy technicians and managing workflow Conducting pharmacokinetic assessments to optimize patient dosing Providing consultation to physicians and nursing staff on medication-related issues Utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems to manage medication dispensing and documentation

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Massachusetts Pharmacist license Previous hospital pharmacy experience is essential Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams Ability to work independently during night shift hours

Schedule:

Night shift, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM 7 consecutive days on, followed by 7 consecutive days off This role offers an excellent opportunity for a licensed hospital pharmacist looking to work a consistent night schedule in a community hospital setting.
