As a locally owned independent pharmacy, we focus on patient-centered service, strong clinical support, and building long-term relationships with our patients and healthcare providers. We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and experienced Pharmacist Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy operations and continue delivering exceptional care. Position Summary The Pharmacist Pharmacy Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring regulatory compliance, supervising pharmacy staff, maintaining exceptional customer service, and supporting business growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent clinical knowledge, operational skills, and a passion for community pharmacy. Responsibilities Oversee all daily pharmacy operations and workflow efficiency Ensure compliance with all state, federal, HIPAA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations Accurately dispense medications and provide clinical counseling to patients Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, interns, and staff Maintain inventory control, ordering, and medication storage standards Manage pharmacy quality assurance and patient safety initiatives Resolve insurance issues, prior authorizations, and medication-related concerns Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, providers, and community partners Support pharmacy growth through patient retention, clinical services, and operational improvements Monitor pharmacy performance metrics and assist with business development strategies Ensure excellent customer service and patient satisfaction at all times Participate in immunization services and other clinical programs as applicable Qualifications Active Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy Previous retail or community pharmacy management experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of pharmacy software systems and third-party billing Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Immunization certification preferred Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork Preferred Skills Independent pharmacy experience Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities Experience with workflow optimization and staff management Bilingual skills are a plus Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance-based incentives Paid time off Flexible scheduling Professional growth opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment
