Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to support an inpatient pharmacy team in the Los Angeles area. This role begins as full-time for approximately one month and transitions into a flexible PRN position thereafter, ideal for candidates local to the region.
Location:
Anaheim, CA Schedule:
Full-time (40 hours/week) for about 4 weeks Shift rotations including:
  • 07:30 to 16:00
  • 12:00 to 20:30
  • Weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday) from 08:00 to 16:30
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and compound intravenous (IV) medications accurately Perform medication filling and restocking of Pyxis automated dispensing systems Assist with inpatient medication order entry using Paragon/Allscripts systems Support clinical staff with medication distribution and inventory management Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare teams to maintain safe and efficient pharmacy operations
Required Qualifications:
Current California Pharmacy Technician License Experience with IV compounding in a hospital or inpatient setting Proficiency with Pyxis automated dispensing machines Familiarity with Paragon or Allscripts order entry software preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
