Relocation assistance is available! This vital role goes beyond traditional duties, integrating high-volume operational execution, team mentorship, and strategic alignment with corporate goals.
location:
Charlestown, Indiana job type: Permanent salary: $175,000 - 185,000 per year work hours: 9 to 5 education: Doctorate responsibilities: Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), managing daily 100% onsite pharmacy operations with a focus on safety, accuracy, and compliance. Ensure strict adherence to all federal, state, local, and Board of Pharmacy regulations. Mentor and develop a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, fostering accountability and continuous improvement. Establish and manage patient delivery services and coordinate start of care with nurses and physicians. Implement quality assurance programs, monitor workflows, and drive performance improvement plans.
qualifications:
Required:
BSPh or PharmD degree. Active, unrestricted Indiana pharmacist license (must hold or be willing to obtain licensure in additional states to support 50-state operations). 3-5 years of practical experience in pharmacy operations or a fulfillment environment. Proven leadership experience managing direct reports (exempt and non-exempt). Strong understanding of pharmacy law, regulatory compliance, and clinical interpretation.
Preferred:
Experience in high-volume fulfillment, automation, or centralized pharmacy operations. Experience presenting to regulatory bodies like Boards of Pharmacy. Clinical monitoring experience.
