Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract To Hire This opportunity is for a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) at a 503A Compounding Pharmacy, responsible for comprehensive leadership in pharmacy operations with strong regulatory accountability.

Monday -
Friday:
8:30 am - 5:30 pm Flexible Saturdays if needed
Responsibilities:
Function as the legally designated PIC for all non-resident state pharmacy licenses (unless otherwise delegated). Serve as the key liaison for Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies. Ensure accurate reporting related to operational, ownership, facility, or PIC changes. Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Lead quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Supervise pharmacists, supervisors, technicians, and production personnel. Manage daily batch record processes including creation, execution, review, and approval. Support production scheduling to guarantee on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and optimal capacity planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania Minimum five years of experience as a PIC or Pharmacy Manager In-depth knowledge of USP , , , and applicable state and federal regulations governing 503A compounding pharmacies Proven experience managing audits and regulatory inspections with successful outcomes This role offers a chance to lead a critical function within a specialized compounding pharmacy environment, ensuring compliance and quality while managing operational workflows.
