Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract To Hire This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead operations at a 503A compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA. This role offers a 13-week contract with potential for permanent hire and plays a critical leadership role overseeing all aspects of pharmacy compliance, safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Legally serve as the PIC for all non-resident state pharmacy licenses, unless otherwise assigned Act as primary liaison with Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory bodies Ensure accurate reporting of operational, ownership, facility, or PIC status changes Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding processes, maintaining full regulatory compliance under state, federal, FDA 503A, and USP standards Lead quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts Supervise pharmacists, compounding supervisors, technicians, and production staff Manage daily batch record processes, production scheduling, inventory control, and capacity planningQualifications & Experience:
Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist License Minimum 5 years experience as Pharmacist-in-Charge or Pharmacy Manager Thorough knowledge of USP , , , and relevant 503A regulations Proven expertise in leading audits and regulatory inspectionsLocation:
Kennett Square, Pennsylvania Schedule:
