Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract To Hire Lead pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) at a 503A Compounding Pharmacy, overseeing all aspects of prescription fulfillment and sterile/non-sterile compounding processes with a focus on compliance and quality. This role requires full regulatory accountability under state, federal, FDA 503A, and USP standards, ensuring safe and efficient pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the legally designated PIC for all relevant non-resident state pharmacy licenses. Act as the primary liaison for Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies. Manage timely reporting of operational, ownership, facility, and PIC changes. Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding operations, ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards. Lead and supervise pharmacists, supervisors, technicians, and production staff. Oversee batch record creation, execution, review, and approval processes. Support production planning to maintain on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and capacity utilization.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Pharmacist-in-Charge or Pharmacy Manager. Thorough knowledge of USP , , , and applicable 503A compounding regulations. Proven experience managing audits and regulatory inspections with a strong compliance record.
