Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge and Director of Pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Manage and coordinate pharmacy operations within the behavioral health setting. Oversee medication packaging and dispensing processes using technologies such as Omnicell, Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL. Monitor and maintain automated medication dispensing systems by loading drugs and running restock reports. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication use and patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active Iowa pharmacist license is required. Proven experience in a Pharmacist in Charge or Director of Pharmacy role, preferably in inpatient or behavioral health settings. Familiarity with Omnicell technology is highly preferred. Knowledge of repackaging medications using standard systems and automated dispensing machine operations. Strong organizational skills and ability to lead pharmacy staff effectively.
