Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A night shift pharmacist position is available at a 200-bed community hospital located on Cape Cod, approximately 70 miles south of Boston. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to work in a hospital setting serving a close-knit community, providing essential pharmaceutical care during overnight hours.

Schedule/Hours:

Night shift 7 days on, 7 days off 9:00 PM to 7:30

AM Responsibilities:

Perform order verification ensuring accuracy and safety Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during the shift Manage pharmacokinetics, including dosing and monitoring drug levels Consult with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient medication therapy Utilize IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis to manage electronic medical records and medication dispensing

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and protocols Familiarity with hospital software systems, including EPIC and Pyxis, preferred Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with clinical staff This position is ideal for a licensed pharmacist seeking a hospital-based role with a consistent night schedule and a rewarding clinical environment.
