Responsibilities:

Accurately fill and verify prescription medications Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians to ensure quality service Counsel patients on prescription medications as well as over-the-counter (OTC) options Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and hospital policies Utilize Cerner electronic health record system to manage patient information and prescriptions Qualifications /

Desired Experience:

Active California pharmacist license required Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting preferred Strong understanding of outpatient pharmacy practices Excellent communication skills for patient counseling and team collaboration Proficiency with electronic health records, specifically Cerner, is advantageous This role is a contract position with an anticipated duration of 16 weeks or longer. The start date is flexible but sooner placement is preferred to meet operational needs.
