Responsibilities:

Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently Oversee pharmacy technician activities to maintain optimal workflow Consult with nursing staff and physicians to ensure safe and effective medication use Participate in pharmacokinetic monitoring and adjustments as needed Utilize Allscripts/Paragon order entry system for medication management Manage Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets to streamline pharmacy operations

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Current pharmacist license in good standing Experience working with order entry systems, preferably Allscripts/Paragon Familiarity with automated dispensing systems such as Pyxis Strong communication skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
