Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Contract To Hire A reputable retail pharmacy group operating multiple locations across Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Staff Pharmacist to join their team in Ladysmith, WI. This opportunity offers a chance to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a community-focused retail setting. The current pharmacist is approaching retirement, creating an immediate need for a dedicated professional to step in and maintain high-quality service. Responsibilities include dispensing prescription medications, counseling patients, managing inventory, and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes. Flexibility to travel between various sites within the group may be necessary, depending on staffing needs, especially since some locations have been staffed by PRN pharmacists following retirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispensing medications and providing patient counseling Managing pharmacy operations during weekday business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM) Ensuring compliance with state pharmacy regulations and safety protocols Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care Potentially traveling to different retail sites within the pharmacy group if required
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Wisconsin Pharmacist license (required) Open to new graduates and pharmacists from all backgrounds Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to providing superior patient service in a community pharmacy environment
