Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A leading healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Lead Pharmacist to oversee pharmacy operations and ensure exceptional patient care. This role is essential for maintaining medication safety and accuracy, providing expert guidance to pharmacy staff, and collaborating closely with healthcare teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in pharmacy practice, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes.
Location:
San Antonio, TX Schedule:
Monday to Friday 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure smooth daily operations Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy and appropriateness Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards Implement best practices to improve pharmacy services
Desired Experience:
