Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join a 175-bed hospital in the Reno area, working night shifts on a contract basis. This role supports patient care through expert pharmaceutical services, utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems to maintain efficient and safe medication management. Shift schedule includes 7 nights on, 7 nights off, with 10-hour shifts, ideal for those preferring concentrated workweeks on nights.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations Provide consultative services to physicians and nursing staff regarding medication regimens Manage pharmacokinetics to optimize therapeutic drug use Collaborate across clinical teams to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications:

Active Nevada pharmacist license required Previous hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred Comfortable and effective working night shifts Proficient with EPIC electronic health record and Pyxis automation systems is highly desirable
